The Aggmore real estate fund in Luxembourg bought the Słoneczne shopping centre in Szczecin from TK Development. This was the first investment by this fund in Poland. A team of specialists from TPA Poland provided tax consultancy for the transaction.
The transaction concerned a four-storey shopping centre building. It is located on the right bank of the Oder, with good transport links including 7 bus routes to the city centre.
“The purchase of the Szczecin shopping centre was the first investment made by Aggmore in Poland. We are happy that it was TPA Poland’s Experts that could provide tax advice for this transaction. It took place in 2006, and thus in a slightly different reality in the real estate market. That year was one of record ones. In the commercial space market the most activity was noted in regional cities. Investors and developers were interested mainly in cities with 100 000 to 400 000 inhabitants, thus the investment in Szczecin was not a surprise”
– emphasises Krzysztof Kaczmarek, Managing Partner in TPA Poland.
