Uniqa buys Maraton in Poznań. Tax support provided by TPA Poland’s team of tax advisors

The acquisition of the Maraton office building in Poznań has come to a close. The team of TPA Poland experts provided tax advisory services on this transaction.

“Uniqa is a long-standing client of TPA Poland. We have already had the opportunity to collaborate on several important transactions for this fund. We are glad that also this time, with their investment project in the capital of Wielkopolska province, Uniqa has chosen us to be their advisor. As part of this cooperation, we were able to support the client with advisory services in the area of tax law, which, as we know, is of considerable importance when settling this type of a deal. Precise determination of the implications of a given deal allows the investor to make a sound decision,” said Monika Stachurska-Waga, tax advisor, Senior Manager at TPA Poland.

The Maraton office building offers its tenants high quality and a flexible office concept. The sustainability of the building is confirmed by the LEED PLATINUM certificate. Tenants, mainly from the service sector, include ROCKWOOL, an IT company Sii, APS, Bridgestone, Century Link, Duni European Finance Function, REHAU Business Services and Naspers, owner of the OLX classifieds platform. The building features 301 parking spaces, some of which are suitable for electric cars.

Maraton is located in the southern part of the center of Poznań, in the vicinity of the Old Town, with Królowej Jadwigi Street serving as an important road artery of Poznań for private and public transportation.
